About Marina

Marina Moukhin is a multidisciplinary artist working across painting, textile sculpture, and mixed media.

Her practice explores memory, presence, and the emotional life of objects — asking how fabric can become both form and meaning. Through a physical process of layering, stitching, and transformation, MouKhin creates works that exist between softness and structure, fragility and strength.

Born in Tajikistan, MouKhin immigrated to Israel at the age of 15. The experience of transition — language, identity, and belonging — continues to shape her artistic language. She approaches the body and memory as a space of traces, where what remains unspoken is held within material.

Her pieces invite slow, intimate viewing, with close attention to texture, gesture, and material — allowing emotion to emerge through detail. Her work has been presented in exhibitions and artistic contexts in Israel.
